Day by Day
8 Days 7 Nights Journey Overview · Select a Day to Explore
Day 1 ·
Your adventure begins with a warm meet-and-greet at JKIA Airport. Our representative transfers you to the 4-star Sarova Panafric Hotel in the heart of Nairobi, where you'll settle in for a comfortable evening before the wild journey ahead. Accommodation is on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
Day 2.
After breakfast, drive 250 km (approx. 4 hours) to Amboseli National Park — best known for its free-roaming herds of over 1,600 elephants against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for a hot lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive around 4 PM before returning for dinner.
Day 3.
A flexible day entirely at your pace. Option 1: Early morning game drive, leisurely midday at the lodge, and an evening drive. Option 2: A full-day game drive with a packed lunch, maximising wildlife time on the savannah.
Day 4.
Drive 350 km (approx. 6 hours) to Lake Naivasha — one of Africa's most renowned freshwater lakes. After a relaxed lunch, embark on a thrilling hippo boat ride and a walking safari at the enchanting Crescent Island Animal Sanctuary, Naivasha's best-kept secret.
Day 5.
A short 100 km drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famed for its extraordinary flamingo displays, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, and both black and white rhinos. Afternoon game drive through the rift valley scenery, culminating in a New Year's Eve dinner at the lodge.
Day 6.
Ring in the New Year and drive 300 km to the legendary Masai Mara — home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Kenya. All the Big Five can be spotted here. Arrive for lunch, rest, then head out for your first Mara afternoon game drive.
Day 7.
Your final day in the Mara — make it count. Option 1: Whole-day game drive. Option 2: Morning big-cat hunt with afternoon relaxation. Option 3: Hot air balloon at sunrise (USD 450 pp) followed by game drives and an optional Maasai village visit (USD 30 pp).
Day 8.
After breakfast, begin the 350 km journey back to Nairobi. Spend your final afternoon with optional excursions to the Giraffe Centre or Maasai Market. End your safari in style with an included dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before your transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.

Day 1
Picked up from your accommodation or the airport in Nairobi, you depart for the Maasai Mara, driving north and ascending the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Stop briefly in Narok Town before arriving at the camp/lodge around 1:30 p.m. After check-in and lunch, head out for an introductory evening game drive from 3:30 p.m. through the famous savannah grasslands — home to the Big 5, dramatic big-cat sightings, and vast herds of plains game. Return for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
An early breakfast at 6:00 a.m. sets you up for a full day of game drives across the rich savannah. The Mara is renowned for its black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, enormous elephant herds, and virtually every species of East African wildlife. Picnic bush lunch at the famous Hippo Pools along the Mara River. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai Manyatta for a complimentary cultural tour: witness traditional dances, learn fire-making, and browse handmade crafts. Dinner and bonfire night at the camp/lodge.
Day 3
After breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and check-out at 8:30 a.m., depart the Mara and drive back towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, with a lunch stop en route. Arrive at the Nakuru hotel in the evening, check in, freshen up, and enjoy dinner before an overnight stay.
Day 4
Breakfast at 6:30 a.m., then into Lake Nakuru National Park — one of Kenya's two Premium Parks and a bird lover's paradise with over 400 species including the iconic Greater and Lesser Flamingos (sometimes up to 2 million!). Spot guaranteed White Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffes, African Buffalos, Zebras, and Waterbucks. After game drives concluding around 11:00 a.m., transfer south to Amboseli National Park, arriving around 5:30 p.m.
Day 5
Rise for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and spend a full day game driving through Amboseli — "The Home of Elephants." Some of Africa's largest elephant herds roam freely here against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro (5,896 m). Also spot Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos, Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, and Hippos. Picnic lunch inside the park. Return to the lodge around 3:30 p.m. Bonfire available on request.
Day 6
A final breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and check-out at 8:30 a.m. One last morning game drive through Amboseli until 11:30 a.m., then depart for Nairobi with en-route health breaks and a self-sponsored lunch stop. Arrive back in Nairobi around 4:30 p.m., with memories of an extraordinary six-day journey through three of Kenya's finest wildlife destinations.

Day 1
Picked up from your accommodation or the airport in Nairobi. After a safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park — the second most popular park in Kenya — nestled at the foot of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. A quick washroom stop at Emali Town on the way before arriving at the camp/lodge around 5:30 p.m. Check in, freshen up, and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge.
Day 2
Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. then board the 4×4 Land Cruiser for a rewarding full day of game drives. The early morning is prime time for spotting predators in action. Amboseli — "The Home of Elephants" — hosts some of Africa's largest elephant herds alongside Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos, Antelopes, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, and Rhinos, all framed by the magnificent backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Picnic lunch inside the park. Return to the lodge around 3:30 p.m. Bonfire available on request.
Day 3
Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and check-out at 7:00 a.m. for a final morning game drive, followed by a visit to a Maasai Village — a complimentary cultural experience included with your package. Learn about Maasai traditions: cultural dances, fire-making, Manyatta construction, traditional medicine, and daily life. Browse handmade crafts sold by Maasai women (extra cash optional). Depart Amboseli for Nairobi with a self-sponsored lunch stop en route. Arrive back in Nairobi around 4:00 p.m.
